Earth Rights Institute advocates and promotes green careers worldwide. Currently, we are offering a service to help local communities in Southern California to implement initiatives to build green careers.  Our focus is to bring together multi-stakerholders in a community to work towards developing a green career pathway by using our expertise and educational living lab programs. We believe it is important to inspire the youth to engage in building their skills and talents in a green career pathway, igniting them with a new vision for the future. Our program is designed to connect the local high schools, universities, and colleges with local green businesses in order to promote and benefit their sustainability programs, including adding it to their curriculum as well as an avenue for their students hands-on experience.

The program will connect students with the educational resources offered by the Earth Rights Institute Living Lab online portal, a wealth of information concerning fostering sustainability locally. The online course has over 2.5 hours of videos, 32 lectures, and a number of articles addressing how to help create leaders for a sustainable future. In addition, the online course can be altered to better meet the educational objectives of the student population. By providing access to really be involved in the local communities, it will strengthen the collaboration with the local academic institutions of the region. Partnership with the schools and youth groups involved to learn more about water and energy conservation, what industries and businesses exist that are part of these issues and giving them opportunities to come up with innovative ideas and solutions addressing these topics.  We look forward to working with our local communities in Southern California and we are in the process of discussing a possibility of developing our first project in Los Angeles in partnership with Unity Foundation and other organizations.
